How many days do I have to drink the juices?
A. If you are attempting a juice cleanse (juice fast) and have never done so before you may want to try a 1-day cleanse. It’s a quick way to get your body used to the schedule of fasting. The most common cleanses last 3, 5, or 7 days. This is plenty of time for your body to eliminate standard toxins built up in the body. You can do these short cleanses periodically throughout the year. If you would like to attempt a longer cleanse, please enlist the help of a health professional to monitor your health and progress for safety reasons.
How long is safe to cleanse?
This answer really depends on the person, their health and desires. There are people that fast for 60 days or even 100 days. The most common length of time for people to fast is for 3 days, 7, 14 or 30 days. It is completely safe and very healing. While it is not good to fast for the rest of your life, a 30 day fast would do wonders for most people. If you aren’t sure how long you should cleanse, consult with your physician.
Can I exercise when I am on a juice diet?
You can exercise when you’re on a juice diet. Because your body needs most of its energy to cleanse, stick to low impact exercises like pilates, yoga, stretching, and brisk walks. It will get your cells moving and help encourage your body to sweat, which will remove toxins. In general, if you plan to exercise, save the sweeter juice for immediately afterwards. The sweetness indicates that the juice is rich in carbohydrate, and these will replenish your glycogen stores and help you maintain sustained energy levels.
Is a three-day juice cleanse beneficial?
YES! You are giving your digestive system time to catch up and most likely do something it has never experienced before in its lifetime. You are flooding your system with nutrient dense, live juice. Fasting for nutrition, healing and detoxification have been around for ages. Historically it has been commonly used to heal illness. Today in the Western World it is commonly used to detoxify and create balance.
How often should I cleanse?
Cleansing and detoxing have become part of the lexicon. We think you should “cleanse” regularly and often. You make your own decision. You should repeat your cleanse as often as you feel you need it. A 3-day cleanse is a perfect complement to follow a busy weekend filled with over indulgence. A longer cleanse is awesome if your body is starting to show signs of breaking down and of course before or after a holiday is helpful. Like anything, cleansing yields best results when approached over a period of time. Set a schedule and stick to it. Sound good?
How do you make your juice?
Cold-pressed is best! And we use one. Our Hydraulic Cold Press liberates the nutritional enzymes from the fibres of the produce and then puts them under extreme pressure. As the hydraulic press does not force air into the juice during pressing, the juice does not decay as fast, so you’re left with a higher mineral content.
How long do the juices last?

Some do. Some don’t. If you have the urge to eat, it will be more out of habit than a need for more nourishment. If you absolutely positively need to cheat, try to eat raw, fresh vegetables and fruit.
Where will I get my protein?
Plants are a fantastic source of protein. Out of the 23 amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) we need to eat, only nine of them are essential meaning that we need to get them from our diet. By consuming a variety of plants, your body will be digesting protein throughout the day. Plus it is actually easier for the body to extract and absorb nutrients from liquefied fruits and vegetable than it is in their raw and cooked forms. To top it off, we added the chai seeds to The Juice Cleanse.

Instant nourishment. Quite often we don’t remember to chew our food well and our saliva doesn’t get a real chance to mix with the food and start to digest it. Juicing is like drinking a predigested meal and the nutrients are instantly available for use by our bodies. Tip: Chew your Juice and Drink your Food!
